Voters Fact Sheet
This proposal would renew and extend the authority of the School District to levy 3.9289 mills on all property, except property exempt by law, for purposes of providing funds for operating a system of public recreation and playgrounds, which currently expires with the School District's 2026 tax levy.
How Funds Are Used
- Youth Programs (summer camp, soccer, karate, baseball, cricket, basketball, dance, guitar)
- Pool Operations (swim lessons, open swim, water aerobics, adult lap)
- Parks (splash pad, basketball courts, upkeep and improvements to Pulaski and Karpinski park)
- Special Events (movies in the park, back to school carnivals, snowfest, trunk or treat)
- Senior Programs (field trips, social gatherings, spring breakfast, tailored fitness classes)
- Community Center (weight room, sauna, basketball/racquetball courts, fitness classes)

- Polls are open 7 am to 8 pm
- Absentee ballots are available 40 days before (June 25)

10-Year Renewal (NOT A NEW TAX)
- This proposal renews the existing 3.9289 mill levy for ten (10) years, 2027-2036.
- $3.93 on each $1,000 of taxable income.
- About $18 per month for a home with a $60,000 taxable value.
